New PayPal MOL Visa card

This is a big news indeed and application is now open starting today, 21st July 2010. From their website;

MOL PayPal – The Digital Card, issued by EON Bank, is the only digital card you’ll ever need to game and shop the world. You also get 5% bonus MOLPoints every time you reload your MOL account and a lot of other gaming and shopping rewards.

With this card, you can make online purchases securely and conveniently within Malaysia and overseas. All your online purchases for eligible items are protected by PayPal Buyer Protection in the event that you don’t receive your items.

You can either buy the MOL PayPal – The Digital Card welcome pack at RM15 from your nearest 7-Eleven outlet or go to www.PayPal-MOL.com to submit the application and purchase the MOL PayPal – The Digital Card online.
If you are purchasing your Digital Card from 7-Eleven:

1. Complete the application form and mail it to MOL Access Portal Berhad. Please make sure that you have a Malaysia PayPal account and a MOL account for application.
2. Enclose a photocopy of your NRIC (front and back) or passport and work visa.
3. Once the application is approved, you’ll receive a notification email and/or SMS from MOL. You can then log in to your PayPal account to choose / add the MOL PayPal - The Digital Card to fund your gaming and shopping payments.

For online application:

1. Go to www.PayPal-MOL.com to fill in the application form on the website. Please make sure that you have a Malaysian PayPal account and a MOL account for application.
2. Complete payments for The Digital Card.

3. Print out the completed and signed application form, enclose it with a photocopy of your NRIC (front and back) or passport and work visa and mail, scan and email or fax it to the details:

Once the application is approved, you’ll receive an email and/or SMS from MOL notifying you that your Mol PayPal – The Digital Card is ready for collection. Once you have the card, you can log in to your PayPal account to choose / add MOL PayPal – The Digital Card to fund your gaming and shopping payments. Link
