Friday I'm In Love Lyrics

Artist: The Cure

I don't care if monday's blue
Tuesday's grey and wednesday too
Thursday i don't care about you
It's friday i'm in love
Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday wednesday break my heart
Thursday doesn't even start
It's friday i'm in love

Saturday wait
And sunday always comes too late
But friday never hesitate...

I don't care if monday's black
Tuesday wednesday heart attack
Thursday never looking back
It's friday i'm in love

Monday you can hold your head
Tuesday wednesday stay in bed
Or thursday watch the walls instead
It's friday i'm in love

Saturday wait
And sunday always comes too late
But friday never hesitate...

Dressed up to the eyes
It's a wonderful surprise
To see your shoes and your spirits rise
Throwing out your frown
And just smiling at the sound
And as sleek as a shriek
Spinning round and round
Always take a big bite
It's such a gorgeous sight
To see you eat in the middle of the night
You can never get enough
Enough of this stuff
It's friday
I'm in love

Update: 31.1.07 - Bloggers in court

Here some pics from Jeff Ooi's blog, as he and other bloggers accompany Rocky to court

I have never seen bloggers in Malaysia more united since two of our power-bloggers, Jeff and Rocky being sued for sharing their two cents. Rocky will continue to march on to court and Jeff will continue to lash his 'fingers' like there are no tomorrow. More journalists with high calibre blog and some with Datoship stature. That does tell us something, isn't it? Here a logo I've made as a sign of support and solidarity. To all Malaysian bloggers, big and small, like me. and hope sheih dont mind (I will upload in eps format later)

Extra cautious while blogging.

Wednesday, January 24, 2007

So, after the story about blogger being sued and all, some of us can't help it but feel paranoid about our blogging habbit. Some do take precaution, especially those who blog at work but is it enough? Do spyware and antivirus can really prevent malicious virus from taking away your privacy? As I was blog-surfing, I come accross this useful comment;

security tips for all bloggers. Please pass it on and feel free to share other ideas.

Email
1. Standard application like Microsoft Outlook, Eudora, etc (without addons) - Emails are transferred in plain text. Easily intercepted. Not safe.
2. Company's email system - Copy of your inbound/outbound email can easily be made at the servers. Not safe.
3. Web-based email (e.g. Yahoo Mail, Google Mail) - After you open a mail, check the URL. If the URL starts only with "http:" (without 's'), not safe. If the URL starts with "https:", the data is encrypted and safe.

Email safety
1. web-based encryption (http://www.hushmail.com/). Free edition has limitations.
2. Or, Use encryption application/addon. Requires technical expertise to integrate into email software.

Email (my recommendation)
- Use the free service, http://www.hushmail.com/

Spying
1. There were cases of companies install spy software in their employees computers. In such cases, encrypted page is not useful.
2. Watch out for non-computer spying, such as; surveillance cameras.

Spying (my recommendation)
- For whistle blowers, avoid using your company's computer and network to transmit confidential information.

Web and Email hosting
- All data such as logs and files, both encrypted or unencrypted, can be obtained or intercepted at the servers.

Web and Email hosting (my recommendation)
- Important to host only in companies that you trust.
- Consider overseas hosting if local jurisdictions are issues of concern.

Other security tips for computer.

Update on blogging situation in Malaysia

Marina Mahathir have pointed out some points to fight back the power-that-be and inportantly, Malaysian blogger should all be united on this. mengikut A Kadir Jasin, satu tabung untuk melindungi blogger sedang diusahakan.

Harian Metro, Jumaat 19 Januari 2007

Berita muka hadapan mengenai gig (pertunjukkan musik) pencemar Ma'al Hijrah.

Demam.

Kami sekeluarga demam. Cirit-birit, sakit tekak & demam panas. Kesiah Haziq, makin kurus. On a brighter note, Liverpool thrashed Chelsea 2 -0, over the weekend! Yahoo

Malaysian blogger sued

Thursday, January 18, 2007

Two of Malaysia most vocal and outspoken bloggers were sued by NST, a local daily newspaper. They are Ahirudin bin Attan (Rockybru) and Jeff Ooi . And, watch out for Sheih, another popular blogger (maybe not, to some). Nurina A samad was there when Rocky was served the summons.

He was glad to have found Rocky. Not only because he had done his job but that he had finally met the man himself."Saya ikut blog abang," he said, as he stood up to leave.Well, Rocky..... just about more than half a million others too.

Johor flood, second round

Monday, January 15, 2007

Update: 16/1/07. Gambar sekitar bandar ULU TIRAM. Via abuyazid and big thanks to fellow Oyster Hill resident OG!

Lampu Trafik Ulu Tiram

Tanah runtuh, SK Tmn Bukit Tiram, Ulu Tiram Johor.

Second round of flood have turned Johor into a war zone, especially in places like Kota Tinggi and Kluang. Excess roads have been blocked by meter-high flood water. Traffic come to a halt and residents were forced to evacuate from their houses. Minor landslides can be seen everywhere and pot-holes appears in an instant, making normal driving into a very seriously dangerous chore.

It is very sad, indeed. At my parent's house in Masai, there was no tap-water supply (This was on Sunday) and in Ulu Tiram, there was no electricity. The road was equally bad. But these are mere peanuts compared to other worse-hit areas. I an grateful that my mom and neither of my close friends and relative we seriously involved in this calamity. I hope for the best for everyone else. Be strong. It easier said then done, right?

Here are updates & news taken from Yahoo, Google, Flickr & Technorati. Here from Ahmad A Talib's blog.

Internet Prediction for 2007

Friday, January 12, 2007

2006 is a big year for social networking website such as Myspace and Facebook. Everyone have their own Myspace, even if it look dorky. So what will be making the news in 2007? Already, Apple have made headline with iPhone. Great looking, still keeping up with their minimalist approach. Maybe it is a sign for me to finally buy a new handphone.

Here are some of the prediction on what will in store for the next 12 months. Interestingly, Information Architects have prepared a summary of 2007 web trend in a map format. Download the map in PDF here.

1. Apple keeps its iPod monopoly and increases its OS 5% market share to 5.1%
2. Google scores against Microsoft and Yahoo due to its massive marketing data advantage
3. Blogs bloom, and prepare for the 2008 election
4.Social networks become a place where members make money
5. Newspapers open up - read more of IA's

Kisah pasca tahun baru

Monday, January 08, 2007

Hati berdetik, akhirnya.

Alhamdullilah. Senpat saya azankan dan kami pun cepat mesra.

Semua detik-detik manis berjaya dirakam.

Filem tertinggal lupa nak basuh. Fizi buat akekah untuk anak dia 1 haribulan tu jugak, tak sempat nak pergi.
